Donald Jusa
- Lives (lived) in Indonesia
Photography was a serious hobby for me and only as a part-time photographer. I live in Bandung, West Java, Indonesia, and worked as an Exploration Geologist at Coal Mining Company in East Kalimantan, Indonesia.
First time I had a camera in the middle of 2011 with the Nikon D3100. After 3 months I finally passed very impressed with the insect world that appears very variegated and unique. Incidentally all around the area where I work there are many wild and full of unique insects. Finally I would be interested and focused in the world of macro photography of insects.
Equipment the first time I use for macro photography are lens kit and closeup filter. With this simple equipment I tried to learn the techniques of macro photography in the field that is full of challenges for me. And in mid 2012 finally I bought my first macro lens is Tamron SP AF 90mm f/2.8 Macro 1:1. And now I have Nikkor Micro AFS 105mm f/2.8G IF-ED VR.
To improve the capacity and quality of macro photography I try all aspects or categories of macro photography that are macro natural, macro studio stacking, macro art, macro concept, etc.
