Sea of Air by Paulo Abrantes

This is a shot done in "Parque das Nações", in Lisbon, Portugal. What called my atention there was the graphics in the ground, making that sort of "atmospheric" abstract. I was in a higher place and I tried to take advantage of that pov. The dificult part of the shot was the scene in the frame was +- 100/150 meters from where I was and I had only my small travel camera with me with the 40-150mm lens mounted. That meant i couldn´t fail the focus point to achieve a "correct" dof (for this kind of compo I wanted) and that i couldn´t crop to much in the p.p. (just 10 megapixel file size), and for that I had to "squeeze flat" the tele for the 150mm. That part was achived because i just have done a very small crop to transform the 4/3 native Olympus format for the 4/6 - working better the 4/6 here, imho, because the orientation of the waves and for the "reading" not to be done so much for the sides of the frame. After a few try and error shots to decide aperture and focus point, I had to wait for a while, because it´s a very busy and crowded place, and I wanted to do a frame with just "one point" in the middle of all those waves in the ground.
