This shot was made in S. Bento subway station at Oporto City, Portugal. I had been there many many times but I never thought to shoot the escalators in that perspective from such an extreme low pov. I saw the possibilities to include 2 persons in the frame because between the wall and the hand rail there was enough space to do that. The hard part was to handle the camera so near the outside part of the escalator because it was in motion and if I raised the camera I missed the top of the hand rail for the compostion and for the split of the frame like it is and like I wanted. I waited for almost one hour to catch the two persons and I see the appearence of the man and the woman with perfect timing between each other as a bonus for the long wait that I spent there trying to make the shot.
