I am a Special Needs teacher and live and work in Western Australia.  I have worked and traveled in Asia extensively, (teaching English in a Vietnam language center), and I still take annual trips there whenever I can.  My favourite place to travel and photograph is Myanmar.  Unfortunately, it is starting to open up to the West, but is still perhaps the last bastion of un-touched Asia available.  I am planning on going there again next year (2016), for several weeks.  I have just about given up taking photos in the West, anybody here wandering around with a camera (especially if there are children around), is viewed with suspicion.  However in Asia, people are far more trusting and most pursuits are usually greeted with a smile.  I really love photography and find that I can express myself in ways that words can never portray.  To me, no day is ever more fulfilling than wandering around an unfamiliar place, in some foreign land, with my trusty Fuji and Nikon in tow.  Check out the rest of my pic's on -  philipsuttonphotography.com
