- Lives (lived) in United Kingdom
I have been a photographer for 30 years, starting at the tender age of 12 when I received my first camera as a Christmas present from my sister. I was hooked from the get-go. I bought my first 'real' camera - a Praktica SLR when I was 15 years old, and despite having a few short breaks, I've almost always owned a camera since then. I spent my first few years as a photographer shooting architecture, and had a three year fascination with church clocks... I can't even begin to explain... It was only by chance in my late teens I picked up a book in my local library - purely by accident - by Elliot Erwitt. I was absolutely shocked and stunned at the pictures. My head spun at this genre of photography, and I knew right there and then it had stolen my heart. I'd had my 'calling'... I've been a Street Photographer ever since, and feel compelled to document Life on a daily basis.
The art works of the artist are dominated by the colors black and gray.
