- Lives (lived) in Romania
I approach landscape photography as a creative art form. For me photography is all about the way of transmitting a vision, an impression, and not about the strict reality. A frequent mistake in the interpretation of photographs is based on the belief that an unprocessed image is equal to the reality, and any post-processing results a fake, manipulated image. I believe that in fine art photography, for great visual impact, aesthetics, mood and maybe even for originality, a very special light is necessary. But, while the current cameras are capable to handle the usual daylight pretty well, they fail to reproduce these special light conditions, the un-processed images are not even close to what the human eye are capable to see.
