It was the second day of my residence in Hangzhou and the 15th of a journey, that started somewhere in Mongolia and ended near the border of Nepal... So, I went to the so famous West Lake and wanted to try a few shots, just so, out of my journey's purpose. Then I saw those four monks, three of them were walking near the lake, speaking and laughing and the last stood by the water facing the sunrise. It was a moment, I kind of felt not willing to disturb him, so I stood and watched him there. The other three saw me, one of them came to me and told me not to worry and take a picture as the monk by the water would stay there at least half an hour like this, not moving, just watching the sunrise. I felt even more stupid to take a picture, around us were about 20 people, all shooting . So I made a wager...with destiny. I said- if all people leave the space and all boats disappear I will take a clean shot, only the man and the lake. I waited about 10 minutes, just watching. He never moved. I lost the bet...but I took one shot. Then I had to clone out a boat :) Enjoy
