- Lives (lived) in South Africa
I cannot claim to have been introduced to photography through a father or grandfather or being given my first Brownie camera at an early age. But I can say I have always been interested in art of photography, but lacked the patience of waiting to see the result of what I took on my then idiot Agfa Camera. I had to wait for the digital age to satisfy my eagerness in seeing almost immediately what I recorded, this format I immediatly embraced.
I try to freeze a moment in time through the viewfinder, a moment that can be treasured forever, evoking the same feelings I had at the time I pushed the shutter. I am grateful to this wonderful medium in helping me to see better & see more, something only photographers will understand.
The improvement in photo editing software & its use can bring more to our frozen eye, ensuring we can all conclude the vision of our original shot.
The art works of the artist are dominated by the colors black and gray.
