Paolo Giudici
- Lives (lived) in Italy
I started with family photos and seascapes, then moved to nature and abandonment.
I held an exhibition in Genova, Villa Piaggio, Italy, in summer 2014, and one at Bruneck-Brunico's public library in winter 2015. While the exhibitions were running, many of my big prints had been sold. This has been a turning point in my photographic experience because it has taught me a lot about what people really like about my pictures and about the difference between showing pictures to friends, showing pictures on the internet and showing big prints to unknown visitors who can decide to give you money for an image. My photography and my attention to detail have been highly enriched by this experience.
I am now working on a project concerning Genoa and the surrounding areas, where excessive human activities on the seacoast go together with massive abandonment of the inland Apennines.
