Being a photographer is one of the most beautiful adventures in life. You learn to listen to the nature, you learn to feel the people, the subtile breath of life and of the elements, the vibration of the winds blowing on your face. You walk, you climb, you fly above the ocean, over the highest mountain peaks, you take time to fly with fantasy. This is my job, I do it with passion and hope the beauty captured through my lenses will challange you to see life with a new perspective, struggling for beauty and peace. Sometimes you idealize your images in our mind, you try to construct this magic alchemy of elements, lights and moments. You spend days in the rain waiting for the sun to appear above the glaciers. you walk for days overseas in some remote regions of the world, you wait hous, sometimes days. Together you share the emotion of the red sunset shining on the glaciers after a long hike. Suddenly the moment you were waiting for comes. You shot, you make the ephemeral real. Photography is a window open to our life, in any place we are, everyday in our life. I currently shot in mid format. I own an old Pentax 6x7. This camera is for me one of the most beautiful cameras ever. I recently bought a digital Nikon d80. Very good stuff, but with its 10 Mpx you hardly get the brightness of 6x7. One of my specialtis is mountains and aerial photography.
The art works of the artist are dominated by the colors black and gray.
