Ursula Rodgers
I'm a self-taught photographer, currently based in the city of Norwich, in the United Kingdom. I always enjoyed taking photographs in my native country, Australia, but only began to take photography seriously after I moved to the UK. What started as a simple goal to improve as a photographer quickly became a passion. I love to convey a sense of dream, magic and mystery in my images, and to engage the imagination and emotions of my viewers.
Current equipment includes a Canon EOS 5D Mark II (my pride and joy!) and a ridiculously old (but very sturdy) tripod. I enjoy taking photographs of different subjects, in either colour or black and white, using manual settings for exposure and focus. Most of my work is based on straight photography or (subtle) HDR photography, but lately I have begun to use creative post-processing techniques. I never stop experimenting or trying to learn something new, and feel happy using both in-camera techniques and post-processing to achieve the desired mood.
I hope that you will enjoy browsing through my work. Thank you for viewing.
